My Background I grew up in Istanbul, where my love of architecture, history, and photography were developed. Between 1999-2007 I lived in Germany, UK, then France. Now I live in Turkey.   Awards Awarded a Graduiertenkolleg fuer gegenwartsbezogene Orientforschung der Universitaeten Erlangen-Nuernberg und Bamberg (1999-2000), and a Hazel E Heughan Educational Trust (2002-2002).
